Dr. Mark Lynch - Senior Pastor
Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Mark Lynch or Bro. Mark, as he likes to be called, has been serving as Temple Baptist Churches Senior Pastor since September 2017. He has a passion to see the lost come to Jesus and teaches the word of God in such a way all can learn & grow in their faith. He earned his Doctorate Degrees in Theology, Divinity and Ministry from Slidell Baptist Seminary. He served 2 other churches in the beautiful state of Tn. before coming to Temple. His favorite bible verses are Romans 5:6-10, "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life." His greatest desire is "meeting people as they are and helping them become the person God wants them to be."
Alesia Griffin - Church Treasurer
Ms. Alesia is our Church Treasurer and she was saved when she was 11 years old at First Baptist Church in McKenzie Tn. She married her husband, Bro. Ronnie, on May 5th, 2003 and between them they have 3 daughters and 5 Grandchildren. They have been faithful members of Temple Baptist Church for 10 years. She loves Temple Baptist because it is small enough that we all know each other but big enough that we all feel like family and have many ministries that minister to those families. She also loves Temple Baptist because she knows that if you ever need anything you can always depend on someone from the church to be there for her. She also loves her church because as she puts it "we have a Great Pastor and Spiritual Leader and his loving wife who supports him." She says "Bro. Mark preaches the Word and his wife Terry spreads the word through song because she sings so'oooo Good." Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
Cindy Baynes - Church Secretary
Ms. Cindy is our Church Secretary and was born in Carroll County a long time ago. Saved as a child, she has always wanted to do what she could to serve God and others. At her husband's death, she retired to Trezevant and came back to Temple Baptist. She says, "I want to do whatever I can to help our church to grow and become a force in this area."

He loves serving Temple in any way he can to bring glory to God and his favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 12:2, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

She teaches our Youth and Junior High Students in Sunday School and Wednesday Nights and loves teaching the kids and it is so rewarding to her to know that they are so eager to learn about the Bible. She loves her church, as she puts it, "because I feel like part of the family and they love me just the way I am." She states, "They just don't say they love me but they show they love me by the way they treat me."
